What is Professional Templating?
Think of templating as creating a precise, 1-to-1 physical or digital blueprint of your space before any actual crafting or installation begins.
Houses aren’t perfectly square, and walls are rarely perfectly straight. If we just relied on standard tape measurements, there’s a chance things wouldn't line up exactly right.
During the Templating Phase, we use specialized tools to map out the exact contours, curves, and unique quirks of your specific space. This creates an identical replica (a "template") that we use to cut, craft, and build your project back at our shop.

What is Professional Stone Fabrication?
In short, it is the process of turning a raw, massive slab of rock (like granite, marble, or quartz) into a custom-fitted, polished countertop.
It involves Template measuring your cabinets, using heavy industrial machinery to cut the stone precisely, cutting out holes for your sink and faucets, shaping the decorative edges, and polishing it to a smooth finish.
Professional Installation
A professional countertop installation is a precise, end-to-end service where certified experts measure, fabricate, transport, and secure heavy stone or engineered slabs to your cabinetry. It takes the project entirely out of your hands—from the initial Template measurements to the final cleanup—ensuring the job is done safely and correctly.
What Happens During a Professional Installation?
When you hire professionals, they handle a complex, multi-step process designed to protect your investment and your home:
Templating
Precision Fabrication
Structural Leveling: On installation day, the crew inspects your cabinets. Because stone weighs 15 to 20 pounds per square foot, they will shim and level the cabinets until they are perfectly flat. This prevents the stone from bending and cracking under its own weight.
Seaming: If your kitchen requires multiple pieces of stone, the installers use mechanical, suction-powered seam setters to pull the slabs tightly together. They color-match a specialized epoxy to your stone, making the joint nearly invisible and smooth to the touch.
